English Teaching Assistant Role
In this exciting English Teaching Assistant position, you will be supporting teaching and learning in the generally high achieving English department. Your responsibilities will include moving through the English department to match demand in year 7-11. As an English Teaching Assistant, it will be your duty to lead and support groups of pupils that are struggling to keep up in mainstream lessons reach their targets. You will learn how to plan effective and engaging lessons and will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils of varying abilities, allowing you to grow into a skilled practitioner.
