This exciting English Teaching Assistant role will see the successful candidate working closely with some experienced and friendly teachers across the department. The hired English Teaching Assistant will be working on an individual basis and in groups with the students who are excelling in the subject and with those who are slightly disengaged. In addition to general class support, the hired English Teaching Assistant will be working closely with GCSE and A-level students in small groups to help them focus on exam practice and technique.
For this English Teaching Assistant position, the school are keen to meet a passionate and dedicated graduate who has at least a 2.1 in their degree, a passion to succeed in the role and forge a long and successful career in education. The successful English Teaching Assistant will demonstrate extensive and detailed graduate knowledge that will allow them to cover all topics in the curriculum as thoroughly as possible.
This 11-18 secondary is in Basildon, Essex. The school has on-site parking available to all staff. The school has a great reputation for supporting local graduates, with many of their graduate Teaching Assistants successfully progressing onto the schools own Teacher Training programme.
