An English graduate is required for a KS2 Teaching Assistant post at a welcoming, fast paced inner city primary school in central London.
This good graded primary school is found in a prime central location with excellent commuting links. The school has excellent facilities and resources, including one of the best stocked libraries available. They also have a new ICT suit, which is used on a regular basis, as is the outdoor classrooms.
The Headteacher has now informed me she is looking for a strong English graduate for a KS2 Teaching Assistant role. Ideally she wants an aspiring primary teacher who will join the school from January full of enthusiasm and confidence. This Teaching Assistant role is for a thriving Year 6 class, who are currently on target to surpass the national average for SAT results, but to make sure, the Headteacher wants to make sure Literacy grades are the best they can be. During your time at the school you will work with the same class until July 2021, and a big focus will be on literacy support. There will be occasions when you will lead small group work with students who need additional Literacy support and on occasions you may also work with individual students.
In return you can look forward to working in a supportive primary school with a class teacher who is used to supporting graduates/ aspiring teachers. The children at this school are lovely and really keen to do well, so there will be no behavioural issues, and finally you will get the essential experience needed for any PGCE interview.
So, if you’re interested in this KS2 Teaching Assistant role, we need to hear from you ASAP.
For more information and the chance to interview at this lovely school email a CV and covering letter to David at Edustaff ASAP.
