This school is looking to meet with a confident, engaging and personable graduate who has a desire to teach and a passion for working with teenagers. As an English Graduate Mentor at this school you will be able to demonstrate an excellent subject knowledge and willing to throw yourself in at the deep end and start supporting students from day 1.
As an English Graduate Mentor, you will be working closely with the English department to help support students from year 7 to year 11. On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will be made up of supporting students on a 1:1 basis, in small groups of around 4/5 and then supporting the teacher for with the whole class. You will most likely be supporting individuals who need additional help with their learning and will be encouraged to fins and develop ways of ensuring they fully understand the material being learnt.
