This creative and supportive Primary School is looking to recruit an intelligent, versatile and caring graduate to work full time as a Teaching Assistant within the schools’ early years unit. All applicants will need to have a degree 2:1 or above and feel confident in all academic subjects. Ideally all applicants will have some child related experience, paid or voluntary in order to begin the role on the front foot and with confidence.
This is an exciting and vibrant school, with an excellent staff team in place and well behaved, inquisitive pupils. Your role as an Early Years TA will require you to work with high levels of enthusiasm, positivity and initiative. You will be supported by and supporting the class teacher, working with a range of pupils within either the Nursery or Reception class (aged 3-5yrs).
This is a long term position, perfect for an aspiring Primary (EYFS) Teacher. The role will see you working in class, within the early year’s foundation stage. You will be working with children aged 3-5 years, as the Nursery class integrates with the reception class during outdoor learning. You will need to use your common sense and work pro-actively, as early years can be fast paced and demand staff to adapt to the needs of the class and environment.
