The successful Director of Maths will be a current Head of Maths looking for more responsibility and autonomy next September. It is essential that you an advanced understanding of the strategies a school will need to improve Maths further. It is important for this Director of Maths post you will possess the attributes to act both as an exceptional leader and a first-class teacher. Ideally, the school need a Director of Maths who is able to quickly grasp the wider school aims that are focused on refining certain aspects of teaching and learning and begin contributing to the improvements.
