The Physics Teacher Person Specification
You will be a directed Physics Teacher who can show a balanced and relevant teaching style. The ideal Physics Teacher candidate will have a fun, positive teaching style and a clear and full knowledge of the UK curriculum. The school wants to see Physics Teacher applicants who have the charisma and character to teach fun and dynamic lesson that will inspire every student in the class. You should have the capability to evidence a passion for educating others and the ability to effectively manage a classroom.

About the Physics Teacher Role
As a Physics Teacher your role will involve you joining a highly regarded Science Department with a close-knit and driven team. You will be offered the opportunity to teach utilising state of the art equipment. As a Physics Teacher you will be delivering creative lessons through working closely with an enthusiastic, full-time Teaching Assistant who will support in all lessons with preparation, delivery and classroom management. As a Physics Teacher you will be working closely with not just your fellow teachers but also the schools inspirational and highly talented leadership team. Your duties will include working alongside an involved Head of Science who will always be on hand to offer advice and support as you become accustomed to life at the school, and beyond. Your duties will include displaying great lessons with the best, modern technology and equipment available. As a Physics Teacher you will be taking on A-Level classes, using your subject knowledge to have a good impact on results and pass rates, maintaining the schools already high standards of attainment. In this post you will be enrolling on a comprehensive professional development scheme, that will ensure your talent in the classroom continues to grow. Day-to-day, you will be making a real effort to settle into the school by learning from a hugely talented senior teacher.
