This position would suit a dynamic ICT or Computer Science graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree. Having worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role previously will very much support your application. You must possess a personable character that helps you form positive relationships as well as maintain an enthusiastic and professional attitude. The school need a graduate who is able to be a responsible influence on the pupils they teach.
About the Role
At this growing school, as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant, you will be working across the whole school from Year 7- Year 13 (A-level). As a Computer Science Teaching Assistant you will be targeting areas of the curriculum pupils struggle with by working with them on a 1:1 basis or in small groups within the ICT curriculum. Day-to-day you will be supporting a range of pupils, including pupils with special educational needs.
