In this Computer Science Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor position, you will be working in different functions across the whole school. Your role will require you to mentor students on a 1:1 basis and lead a series of booster and intervention sessions to tackle difficult topics. As a Computer Science Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor, you will be joining a school that understands the importance of support and shall be assigned a dedicated class teacher mentor. The Teaching Assistant will quickly understand the requirements of the curriculum as you assist the teacher with lesson planning and preparation. As part of this fantastic opportunity there is the chance to take on a Cover Supervisor role aiding an aspiring Computer Science TA who is wanting to take on a career within teaching, to practice classroom and behavioural management skills, which are vital abilities to have within teaching.
