Maths Trainee Teacher – Teacher Training opportunities from September 2020
Edustaff are working in partnership with a Secondary School in Ipswich to present them with aspiring Maths Teachers who are looking to start their teacher training in September 2020.
The school can consider 2:1 or First-Class Honours Maths Graduates or non-Maths Graduates who secured an A* or A in their Maths A-Level.
For suitable applicants who can start a role for the remainder of this academic year, the school would consider offering a Maths TA/Maths Tutor role in the first instance.

Maths Trainee Teacher – Job Summary
***Maths Teacher Training placement commencing in September 2020
***Gain a PGCE and QTS at a stable and supportive Secondary School in Ipswich
***Opportunities to join school for remainder of this academic year as a Maths Teaching Assistant/Maths Tutor
***Providing in-class support and undertaking 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
***£65 - £88 per day (for the remainder of this academic year)
***Training salary/bursary dependent on the ITT platform
Maths Trainee Teacher – Job Specification
***2:1 or First-Class Honours degree classification within a Maths related degree subject. Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Engineering and Physics degrees will all be considered.
***Non-Maths Graduates can be considered if they achieved an A* or A in their Maths A-Level
***Previous experience working with the 11-16 age range is advantageous (tutoring, mentoring, coaching)
***Fully committed to a career within Maths Teaching
***An enthusiastic and confident personality that will engage and keep the focus of the pupils you are working alongside
***A positive mindset, the resilience to persevere even in challenging scenarios and a good sense of humour!
