We are looking for aspiring History teachers who are considering a career in teaching and would benefit from some time in the classroom before committing to teacher training.

***Successful secondary located in Braintree
***£65 - £88 per day – History Graduate
***Long Term/Interim, Full-Time role for the remainder of the academic year
***Teacher training potential from September 2020
***History Graduates only
The successful History Graduate for this role will be someone who has achieved a 2:2 or above in a History based degree. It is desirable that you will have had some experience working with children and young people in once capacity or another although this is not essential. The appointed History graduate should be considering a career in teaching but feel you would benefit from some time in the classroom before applying.
In this History graduate role, you will have a varied role which will see you work across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in group settings building your confidence of delivering material and developing your curriculum knowledge. You will have the support of a mentor at the school who will most likely be the Head of department, they will be there to ensure you feel happy and confident with your role.
