1:1 Teaching Assistant – Lewisham
We are seeking a graduate who is dedicated to the support they provide for pupils with complex needs, to join our nurturing primary school in Lewisham to support a child with Autism as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who has previously worked to support autism, to continue to develop the academic and social skills of primary school pupils with this 1:1 Teaching Assistant role.

***£70-£75 per day depending on SEN experience

This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role would suit a graduate who has previous experience supporting pupils with ASD. We want to meet graduates who can plan and prepare for SEN pupils and exchange ideas with outstanding teachers and pupils. The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have the ability to handle challenging situations with a calm and resilient approach and display an empathetic nature towards pupils.
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant your role will involve you helping to nurture the social and academic development of bright primary aged pupils who have been identified as on the Autism Spectrum. You will work with the school’s SENCO who values the individual strengths of members within the SEN department and encourages all TAs to use their skills with small group work outside of the class.
