You will need to be a competent graduate who has worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role and earned at least a 2:2 in your degree. As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the development a specific Year 4 child who has been identified as on the Autism Spectrum. Plenty of CPD and training will be made available for you and creative teaching is encouraged here. You do not need to be an aspiring teacher to apply for this role but for those who are, there are opportunities to train as a teacher here.
