8 Teaching Events You Need to Attend Before Christmas

Who: Jan Owens is a literacy intervention specialist for KS1, 2 and 3 and boasts over 28 years of experience in the primary education sphere. Ruth Levy is an EYFS and Literacy specialist and is a seasoned practitioner with over 20 years of experience in primary education. Both are skilled trainers and the course promises extremely useful ideas for EYFS and KS1 pupil attainment.

Who: National STEM Centre are opening their doors to maths teachers and five of their Year 12 pupils for an exhilarating day of problem solving that will complement the AS/A2 mathematics curriculum.

Who: The Keynote speech will be delivered by Ray Land, a professor of Higher Education at Durham University and will be discussing his work on threshold concepts and their application to the English curriculum.

When: 9:15 – 16:00 Thursday 12th November 
Who: This conference is aimed at developing effective whole school approaches, and with speakers from Education Endowment Foundation, National Literacy Trust, The Reader Organisation and Ofsted, it is an event not be missed by Senior and Middle leaders.
