Philip lived in Greece for two years teaching windsurfing before returning to sing backing vocals on the single ‘The Last Film’ by the band Kissing the Pink (#19 1983). His father made him cool at 13 by taking him to see Johnny Cash live. A life following live music as a passion is the result, often accompanied by one or more of his four children. A love of Portugal, craft beer and I am Kloot give a clue to his perfect evening.
Jack Ribbons – Regional Director
Jack comes from a family of Educators, with 10 family members currently working in schools. Jack decided not enter the classroom but take a different route into education and work with schools on their recruitment and retention issues. Having worked at other education organisations for 10 years Jack joined Edustaff in August 2016. Jack loves sport (watching more than playing these days) and music, although he can never remember the name of songs!
Andrew Robinson – Senior Consultant
Andrew has worked in education for almost 10 years. In his initial career, Andrew supported pupils from some of the most deprived areas in the country, in both primary and secondary schools. The experience and knowledge he gained in these posts have provided him with an invaluable insight into modern education and a belief that providing the right staff to schools has an immeasurable impact on the lives of many pupils. Now in his 4th year as a Senior Consultant at EduStaff, Andrew aims to continue to offer all of the candidates and schools he works with the true benefit of his understanding, knowledge and consideration.
Ben Reeves – Consultant
Ben has recently progressed to Edustaff, having joined with over two years experience working within education recruitment. Previous to this Ben worked at Stansted Airport for eight years in a multitude of customer facing operational roles. Ben grew up in Essex and now lives in Waltham Forest; he has an excellent understanding of East London and a genuine passion for helping people.
Emilie Pecheur – Senior Consultant
Emilie has recently joined the Edustaff team with eight years’ experience in education. Having started her career within mainstream education then going on to manage a SEN team working across South London, Emilie is now looking forward to working with Edustaff’s London Team. You will hear Emilie talk a lot about her pet cat who is the love, but also the bane, of her life. She has a small obsession with owls having fallen in love with the mechanical owl ‘Bobo’ from the film ‘Clash of the Titans’ as a child, and an evening including red wine and anything sci-fi is Emilie’s idea of heaven!
Matthew Stanley – Senior Consultant
Matthew joined EduStaff in January of 2016 bringing over two years’ experience within the education recruitment sector. Matthew bases his approach on quality of service to clients and candidates alike, combining his determination and personable nature to ensure that the needs of both are always met. In his time outside of work, Matthew likes to socialise with friends and tweak his skiing skills at his nearest indoor snow centre.
Richard Pentecost – Senior Consultant
Richard joined EduStaff in February 2016, having worked within the Education Recruitment industry for a year prior. Having completed his Primary PGCE at Canterbury Christchurch University and worked in both Primary and Special Needs Schools as an LSA, Richard is passionate about education and the impact it has on shaping future communities. Richard prides himself on working with only the highest calibre teachers in a professional and personable manner, an ethos that he shares with the entire Edustaff team. Richard has a keen interest in football, boxing and cricket and is your typical Man Utd fan – from Essex!!

Tom is a Senior Consultant with 10 years’ experience across a range of sectors and prides himself on his highly professional yet wonderfully personable approach to candidates and clients. He joined EduStaff in January 2015 thanks to an affinity with their ethos of providing consistently high quality service and their fantastic reputation in their chosen market.
Tom Stoten – Senior Consultant
Coming from a diverse background that included work in retail, security and direct sales, Tom has been able to call on a multitude of personal and professional experiences which has suited him perfectly for the high-intensity world of recruitment consultancy! A keen sportsman, Tom has played semi-professional football in North London and was a member of the all-conquering Saracens RFU Youth set-up. Tom progressed to EduStaff in November 2015 following a highly successful 2 years elsewhere in recruitment, and is looking to establish himself as one of the leading lights in the South East London recruitment scene.
Eoghan Caldwell – Senior Recruitment Consultant
Eoghan joined EduStaff in May 2017, having worked within the Education Recruitment industry for 3 years prior. Having graduated with a Masters in Forensic Investigation, he decided to move to London and take up an Educational Recruitment position. Eoghan has a real passion for providing the highest caliber of Teachers and Graduates to a school to make a positive difference to children in London! He loves to volunteer in schools to aid in creating the best possible School/Teacher match as he appreciates how stressful the recruitment process can be for schools and applicant alike. Eoghan has a keen interest in Hurling, Football and Rugby!
Charlotte Jeffs – Compliance Officer
Having just recently joined the Edustaff team all the way from Essex, Charlotte brings 3 years worth of compliance experience from a medical recruitment sector with her. Charlotte is keen to learn a lot about the Education industry and will not stop until she knows absolutely everything! You will often hear Charlotte complain about eating healthy but she is always found with her hand in a crisp or chocolate wrapper. Whoops!
Kerry Hanrahan – Compliance Officer
Prior to joining EduStaff, Kerry lived in Michigan for six months working as an arts and crafts director. Her love for being creative is reflected in the planning of her wedding; Kerry has designed and printed her own wedding tea towels! A big fan of anime, Kerry has attended a few comic cons and joins EduStaff with over 2 years of compliance expertise.
Laura Williams – Compliance Officer
Laura has spent many years in administrative and support roles within recruitment and she has brought a wealth of professionalism and creativity to the post. Laura has 2 house rabbits who she treats like children and she is far from a domestic goddess – she is however a friendly and happy face and fantastic colleague. Laura’s sister is a prize winning baker and the team sometimes reap the benefits of her siblings kitchen endeavours.
Ami Flowers – Compliance Officer
Prior to joining the Edustaff team all the way from Essex, Ami has had an amazing year off to travel around the whole of Australia and South East Asia. As well as being an intrepid explorer, Ami joins us with two and a half years Education Recruitment experience and loves nothing more than a glass of wine after a long day in the office!
Rochelle Christie – Compliance Officer
After completing 3 years at a medical recruitment agency doing compliance, Rochelle opted for a huge change, so she decided to join the amazing Edustaff doing compliance for teachers. Rochelle loves the colour pink, holidays and recently wanted some responsibilities so decided to buy a pet hamster and named HIM Princess. ? Overall smiley and happy to help when she can.
Molly Hynes – Receptionist
All the way from Essex, Molly joined Edustaff in May 2017. Molly brings a year and a half worth of compliance experience from the financial sector with her. Molly enjoys nothing more than a Jager Bomb and a trip to Ibiza. She also loves spending time with her beautiful cat Indie-pops.
Luke Bacciochi – Regional Director
Luke has been in recruitment for 12 years, 10 of which have been serving the Education industry. Alongside being the Regional Director of the West Midlands branch, Luke is also a qualified computer programmer (MCSD Solutions Developer). His interests include Palaeontology and computer gaming, naturally.

Carly Cooper – Consultant
Carly has recently joined EduStaff after 4 years in the recruiting world, and a previous career in retail management. Carly has a passion for psychology and all things that make the mind tick, and has recently completed a degree in Criminology and Psychological Studies through the Open University.
David Baker – Senior Consultant
David joined EduStaff in January 2015 having spent 10 years in the recruitment industry. David is known within the Birmingham office as ‘The Voice’ due to his participation in BBC’s 2002 show ‘Fame Academy’ where he enjoyed some success in the initial rounds of auditions but unfortunately didn’t progress through to the finals….Better luck next time Dave!
Eamon Malin – Consultant
Eamon has 5/6 years in recruitment, mainly within permanent contracts. Recently married and father to Mr. Pugsley the world's greatest pug. He plays Sunday league football and still lives in hope of being spotted and fast tracked to glory however too many chicken wings may have put paid to that dream. He loves chicken wings!!!!
Neil Poole – Senior Consultant
Neil has been in education recruitment for almost 10 years. After running a successful supply desk in the East Midlands for 7 years he made the decision to go and ‘live the dream’ and travel the world. 541 days, 29 countries, 4 continents and endless tales later he made his way back to Dear Old Blighty to start his new adventure at EduStaff. He maintains his greatest achievement in life is shaking Danny Minogue’s hand at the radio One Roadshow in Bournemouth as 13 year old Milky Bar Kid lookalike.
Patrick Jones – Senior Consultant
Patrick is a graduate of Hotel and Catering Management, a course undertaken in Manchester where he then discovered his love for dance music. His kinship with hospitality has been reflected in his practice as a Senior Consultant, Patrick prides himself on going above and beyond for both candidates and clients. When he isn’t spending time with his wife and kids, Patrick enjoys pondering the meaning of life in the shed at the back of his garden or planning his next firework display as a budding pyrotechnic.
Hayley Miller – Head of Compliance
Hayley joined EduStaff in October 2012, coming from a background of compliance which she has always shown a great passion for; proven by her progression from Compliance Officer to Head of Policy and Procedure for the whole EduStaff group. As much as Hayley has a passion for her job she also likes to enjoy life, whether that be going out with friends for dinner, weekends away and holidays. Hayley holds a great interest for sea life and as a child wanted to be a Marine Biologist.
Mia Jones – Candidate Liaison Manager
Mia has worked in the compliance sector for several years and more recently supporting people with disabilities back into work. She has now found her way back to compliance as she missed DBS’s and references too much to stay away. Mia has a love for all things Disney and in a previous life is sure she was Ariel. Having had a very small cameo on Big Brothers Big Mouth, Mia is still awaiting the call from Hollywood.
Courtney Scattergood-Lowe – Compliance Officer
My name is Courtney, I live in Sutton Coldfield and previously worked for an energy provider for gas and electricity within the complaints department as a supervisor. I obtained a keen interest in compliance through my role within the complaints department. I have a huge interest in environmental health and research this in my spare time along with travelling as often as possible around the world.
Kristian Hitchen – Consultant
Kristian began working for Edustaff in early 2016 after Graduating with a Degree in Law. He has had a very successful sales background after having worked at a well-known telecommunications provider for over 4 years.
Kristian is a self-made entrepreneur and avid poker player, having won various tournaments across the country. He also enjoys watching football and is a big Chelsea supporter!
Brendan Kelly – Compliance Officer
Brendan recently joined Edustaff in May 2017 as the new Compliance Officer for the Manchester Branch. He has two years’ experience working in Education Recruitment and comes with a wealth of knowledge in education after working in Primary and Secondary schools for over 15 years, as a Priest, Chaplain and Governor. More recently he qualified as a teacher and worked in a variety of roles including Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor and Religious Education teacher.
John Cobb – Regional Director
A graduate from De Montfort University in Business Studies and former pupil of Dartford Grammar School, John has spent the majority of his career as a qualified financial consultant. After a brief spell in Milan, John retrained as a recruitment consultant and is now the Director of the Kent and Sussex region. John is a keen sports enthusiast and coaches Youth Rugby at Tonbridge and Juddians RFC. He is married with two children.
Karl Blake – Senior Consultant
Karl joined EduStaff in March 2015 with 18 months of recruitment experience behind him. Prior to recruitment, Karl has experienced success as a competitive card game player, allowing him to travel around the world and has even appeared on the reality TV show `GEEKS`. In his spare time he enjoys playing poker, competitive TCGs and learning new languages. Currently studying Polish and Russian.
Bethany Stapleton – Candidate Consultant
Bethany joined Edustaff after 2 years as a Holiday Park Entertainer. Unfortunately she still bought her singing voice to the office! She is currently attending Sign Language classes and is part of a Ladies Football Team. She likes to spend her spare time with her dog Ivy and watching back to back episodes of Pretty Little Liars!
Megan Brown – Compliance Officer
Having recently joined the Edustaff Team in Kent, Megan brings over 7 years worth of compliance experience from working as a compliance manager within the healthcare recruitment sector. Megan loves a holiday and to relax in the sun with a cocktail. She also has a passion for Animals and volunteers at a local Animal Rescue Centre in her spare time!
Sharon Hockley – Regional Director
Sharon has over 11 years recruitment experience with the past 5 years spent servicing the Education market across East Anglia. Sharon’s candidates and clients say she is a hard-working, honest Education Consultant and this has led to her success so far. Having grown up and educated in Suffolk and worked within offices in Norfolk and Essex she is very familiar with the area's diversity and geographic which is a huge advantage for the region! When she’s not in the office Sharon enjoys being creative via the means of sewing and baking. She has also learned the skill of DIY following the recent and continued renovation of her house.
Matt Burgum – Consultant
Matt joined EduStaff to help develop the expanding East Anglia region. He brings with him six years of recruitment experience, four of which have been within education recruitment. Matt prides himself on his honest and hard-working approach which allows him to establish excellent relationships with the teachers and schools he works alongside. Away from work, Matt will often be found either in the gym, watching football or listening to Lionel Richie’s greatest hits!
Ciara Beazley – Recruitment Consultant
Having recently joined EduStaff Ciara brings 1 years recruitment experience gained specialising in temporary recruitment into Local Government. Ciara prides herself on her work ethic and relationship building skills and credits this with her success in her first year in recruitment. Away from work Ciara is a Harry Potter super-fan, building a collection including an Elder wand, Gryffindor cloak and Time turner on her travels!
Lily-May Byfield – Candidate Consultant
Lily joined Edustaff in March 2017 as an Academy Consultant and has progressed into the role of Candidate Consultant in our Essex office. Having graduated from Keele University with a BA Honours in Education Studies and Sociology, Lily loves meeting enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about teaching and inspiring generations of children to come. Lily has recently secured herself a part time job performing as Disney Princess Moana. She loves to sing and dance and regularly performs with her local amateur dramatics group.
Charlie Demmel – Recruitment Consultant
Charlie joined the EduStaff East Anglia team as a Recruitment Consultant. His two years experience in recruitment has been spent in Education so he is very familiar with the sector! Charlie is determined to develop his career as an education recruitment specialist. Outside of the working environment, Charlie is a big football fan and regularly attends West Ham United football matches! It’s fair to say that Charlie is also a very big Marvel and Disney fan, having
watched the majority of the films several times!
Cheryl Walford – Compliance Officer
Cheryl joined the compliance team in January 2014, prior to her roles Education compliance she worked for 6 years as an administrator in a residential home. In her spare time Cheryl likes to socialise with her friends, play badminton and enjoys cooking. Cheryl used to love a box set but thinks she may have watched everything that’s has ever been invented.
Lisa Patient – Regional Director
Lisa has lived in Reading for over 35 years and has spent 25 of them working in recruitment, predominantly in the education market. She is a Fellow of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation as well as being a qualified trainer with the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice. She is passionate about lifelong learning through fiction and non-fiction books and loves spending free time with her family which revolves around motor sports and camping.
Georgia Collingwood – Compliance Officer
New to both Reading and EduStaff, Georgia is a proud northerner and a firm advocate for all things Yorkshire: puddings, The Arctic Monkeys and strong accents. Outside of work, Georgia enjoys running her own fashion blog, spending time with any kind of animal, all things crime based and running – although not nearly as much as she should.
Michal Chajtowicz – Consultant
Michal joined EduStaff in August 2016 having previously worked for 9 years' in sales and sales management within the Health & Fitness industry. Although he is new to recruitment, his past experience and huge success will stand him in good stead. Outside of work he is a devoted father to a little boy named Frankie and big sports and fitness fanatic!
Rainy Old – Consultant
Originally from New Zealand, Rainy joins EduStaff SEN after enjoying a demanding 15-year career within social work, adoption and front line child protection for a number of London Boroughs. Although new to the recruitment industry, Rainy’s desire to recruit combined with her empathy towards a Special Education will make her a valuable addition to the team. In her free time, Rainy is an accomplished cook and loves nothing more than cooking for friends and is also an avid traveler.
Sasha Das Gupta – Senior Consultant
A London girl born and bred, Sasha has an affinity with the Capital like no other which fuels her passion to positively contribute to the education of the next generation. Outside of work, Sasha grows an interesting range of fruit and vegetables and won the ‘Imagination of the Year’ contest in 1996.
Zoe Argyrou – Candidate Consultant
Prior to joining EduStaff Zoe was a Teaching Assistant for 3 years in EYFS. Zoe is a Marketing graduate from Middlesex University and is also a graduate from the 1st Edustaff Academy! Zoe is now part of the candidate generation team. Zoe enjoys Netflix marathons and loves a shopping trip!
Alexander Ellisdon – Candidate Consultant
Alex is a recent Criminology graduate from Nottingham Trent University, he received a 1st class honours and was commended for his dissertation exposing shortcomings within responses to domestic abuse. He has just got back from doing a TEFL course in Spain and wanted to remain in the education sector. A previous Edustaff TA applicant he has now joined the candidate generation team during the first Edustaff academy. He is a keen rugby fan and is a Lord of the Rings/Game of Thrones/ Anything Fantasy fanatic. He enjoys politics and can often be found listening to the London philharmonic orchestra with a pint of ale.
Rebecca Constant – Candidate Consultant
Rebecca has always been passionate about Education and knew this was the area she wanted to work. She started off working in the charity sector before finding her place at EduStaff. Rebecca is a graduate from the 1st EduStaff academy is excited to now be working as part of the candidate generation team. Rebecca loves a good glass of wine, spending time with family and friends and loves a good sing-song! She has a secret skill of being able to whistle and hum at the same time… strange!
Nadia Whittaker – Operations Manager
Nadia has had a successful career in recruitment for over 13 years. Joining EduStaff in March 2013 as a Compliance Officer, her organisational ability and professionalism saw her progress into the role of Operations Manager. Originally from South Africa, Nadia loves what most Saffas do – a good braai (Afrikaans for BBQ), good hearty food and socialising with friends.
Shriya Patel – Learning and Development Coordinator
Shriya joined EduStaff in November 2016 as an intern and has progressed into the role of Learning and Development Coordinator. She is a recent graduate of the University of Hertfordshire, where she was also a student ambassador. In her spare time, Shriya enjoys shopping and meeting her friends and loves nothing more than a glass of wine!
