My client is a 2 form entry infant school based in the Borough of Barnet, North London led by a long standing head teacher and supported by a very positive team of staff. The school are looking to appoint an exciting and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with a year 1 girl with Global Delay 5 days per week, mornings only (8:45 - 1:00pm)

Located in the northern part of Barnet, accessible by the northern line my client school is a 'Good' 2 form entry Infant school with an attached children's centre that serves a multicultural and diverse area of the LEA. A caring and supportive school, the head teacher has worked hard to create a positive ethos throughout the school. Although a challenging and diverse catchment, the staff and head teacher work well together as a valued and supported team to promote learning.

Your role is to work 5 days a week for the mornings only supporting a year 1 girl with global delay and fairly challenging behaviour. The role is to begin immediately and will be for the remainder of the year. If you have an afternoon post or commitments this role could fit in perfectly for the remainder of the academic year.

Applicants need to have experience working with SEN pupils, whether paid or voluntarily, be located in North London and able to commit to a mornings ONLY post for the remainder of the year.
