Edustaff work with a large number of Secondary Schools in the West Midlands who are seeking to appoint outstanding English and Maths Graduates to teaching assistant roles for the school year 2012/13! The roles involve supporting students as they prepare for GCSE's and A-Level's ensuring that they attain minimum standards in end of year exams. Roles can involve working on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils and/or with small groups who require extra support to attain accepted levels.
Positions are full time, 5 days a week and run from September 2012 – July 2013…
Currently we are working with schools across the teaching spectrum, servicing West Midlands Secondary schools and Colleges, in the LEA's of Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Hereford. We have already had enquiries about graduates for roles supporting in both English and Maths.
Our posts are with schools committed to helping you develop, learning about the profession and giving you a good skill base and grounding, through excellent support and guidance in school. Edustaff is a consultancy and as such we work with you to support you through the application process and interview stage right up to the acceptance of a position. We offer support on CV writing, interview techniques and identifying your own USP's that will make you stand out to prospective employers. You will be provided with a through outline of the school, its ethos and what you could expect to experience should you be successful at interview, helping you ensure that you find the right school fit for you.
These roles are ideal for recent graduates who having completed a Degree based around English or Maths and are looking to gain experience in schools prior to starting a PGCE or TDS course 2013/14. You will be provided with an insight into the day to day running of a secondary school preparing you for your own teacher training in 2013/14. School's provide a supportive and inclusive environment and you will be given every opportunity to test and develop your skills, giving you a head start in your future career.
