Based in the West of Solihull, this 2 form entry primary school are seeking to appoint an exceptional classroom practitioner to join their team for September 2012. The school are seeking an outstanding teacher to cover for their seconded Deputy head Teacher. The schools Head Teacher provides outstanding leadership to the school and the staff that has seen them make great strides in pushing forward. You will be an ambitious and passionate teacher, committed to improving standards and who sets high expectations of themselves and the students in their care.

The school itself sits on a large site, with good facilities and well sized classrooms. Students come from a diverse multicultural background, and have varying levels of attainment. You will take responsibility for teaching a year 5 class of (currently)28 pupils, whilst support will be provided by an experienced level 2 TA. Planning is done on an individual basis, though support will be available from the Key Stage 2 co-ordinator, an experienced teacher and leader.

The school is easy to reach being located near the local train station which is just 15 minutes walk away and having a number of bus routes that either pass close to or right outside the school. There is the possibility that for the right applicant, TLR points and responsibilities could be offered. Ultimately however the school are determined to ensure they appoint the best classroom practitioner to the role and as such both NQT's and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
