This large secondary school found within the borders of Acocks Green just outside the borders of Solihull, are looking for a committed recent graduate to join their team for the academic year 2012/13.

The school are currently going through a program of development and innovation under their new head teacher, and have seen rapid improvements over the last few years. This role will provide the successful applicant with an outstanding opportunity to become part of a diligent and highly motivated team. You will get to learn best practice and develop skill sets that will put you in good stead for your GTP/PGCE next year.

The role is that of a full time Teaching Assistant, comprising 5 days a week for the duration of the school year, and is to start as soon as possible. The role is that of a floating Teaching Assistant supporting across departments and year groups, however the school are willing to try and accommodate any subject specialism.

The school is located in a thriving area of Birmingham, and is close to the border with Solihull, making it easily commutable from either area. The school has a culturally diverse make up providing a stimulating environment in which to launch your career.
