*** Ofsted ‘Good' mixed secondary school in Wandsworth
My client is an oversubscribed mixed secondary school in the centre of the vibrant Borough of Wandsworth; catering for a catchment of pupils from a variety of different backgrounds makes this a particularly stimulating and interesting place to work in.
This role will be supporting a Year 9 Autistic pupil who also has some speech and communication difficulties; he is known to display some challenging behaviour so to be considered for this role it would be extremely desirable if you have had previous experience dealing with pupils that have challenging behaviour.
You will support this pupil in regular classes across the subjects but also provide some key intervention work where you will work towards set targets and be required to monitor/track his progress by filling in weekly report sheets.
If you think you have the skills and attributes to be able to provide the best support possible for this pupil then do not delay in emailing your CV and covering letter to Nikki at Edustaff today!
