All students in KS3 have RE in their curriculum as discrete lessons or as part of our Year 7 National Skills Curriculum. GCSE RE is offered each year. Whilst a successful candidate will teach predominantly RE, an ability to contribute to other Humanities' subjects in the wider sense will be essential. Additional responsibilities may be available to a suitable candidate.

This is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive with specialist Business and Enterprise status, in pleasant surroundings in the London Borough of Havering. Our last OFSTED inspection (March 2010) noted that “students work well together and are respectful of those from different ethnic, social and religious backgrounds”.

As the new Head of RE, you will be responsible for raising the attainment levels in this popular subject. You will be reporting directly to the Head Teacher, who has been described as “extremely supportive” by his current members of staff.
