From September my client Primary School which is located in the bustling borough of Wandsworth has a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant. The post will be to work with a young child, currently in Year 2, who has Autism.
The school caters for a culturally diverse catchment and currently has above the national average percentage of children with EAL and SEN which would make your time at the school hugely stimulating and rewarding. It has excellent transport links and is less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest underground station.
With good facilities and excellent teachers this school offers quality education to its pupils and you will join a school that has a growing reputation within the LEA and wider community. From September the Headteacher is looking to appoint an empathetic LSA who has experience and an understanding of the Autistic Spectrum Disorder. From September you will work exclusively with a young boy who is currently in Year 2 and will be moving up to Year 3. Currently working at P-Levels you will become his full-time 1:1 support.
