This excellent Primary School is located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This relatively low socio economic area is in general very high in EAL with a large proportion of the pupils that attend of Bengali origin. This Primary places a large focus in Early Years and then Key Stage 1 on Literacy, it is hoped that through this focus the pupils will develop an excellent range of speaking, writing and reading. Currently this focus works very well and this Primary is one of the highest achieving schools on English on leaving KS2 in the Borough!

This record of high achievement however does not detract from the overall atmosphere in the school and the happiness of staff and pupils. The staff turnover at this school is very low and once staff work at the school they tend to stay.
