Security and Vetting Procedures

To complete the Edustaff registration process, every candidate must provide documentation verifying their identity, criminal history, qualifications and experience.

Edustaff goes above and beyond the DCSF guidelines to ensure the candidates we provide are safe to work in schools. From the way we advertise the vacancy, right through to the candidate's first day in a new school, we adopt stringent measures to ensure every candidate is 100% compliant.

Every candidate must provide:

Photographic proof of identification (valid passport or driving licence)
Proof of address (bank statement, utilities bill or council tax bill)
At least 2 references covering their recent employment history
A valid CRB check and supporting documentation
Overseas police checks if they have spent time in another country
